FENDI is the story of four generations of women who built a Roman fashion empire founded on creativity, craftsmanship and innovation. Established in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi, the family fur and leather goods boutique continued to grow and evolve, becoming an emblem of the most refined Italian elegance thanks to the five Fendi sisters and 54 years of collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld. Today, the House is led by Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, Kim Jones, who joined in 2020 as Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear, and Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Artistic Director of Jewellery. Together, they bring modernity and tradition to the brand, which was acquired by the LVMH Group in 2000, with LVMH becoming the majority shareholder in 2001.
